Ok, I’m hooked and curious. What a cool website! Having never owned a motorcycle and wanting one all of my life I admire your restoration work. Personally I always favored the sound of a Harley instead of the ring a ding ding of the Japanese two strokes but I certainly understand true love and devotion.
Nice posters above, reminds me a bit of our studio in the early years. Yes, she would kill me if she knew that I put that in print. Ha!
Seriously, I hope we meet some day. I just talked to Linda Wilson Powell yesterday and it reminded me of the great time that Cynthia and I had presenting at the program all of those years ago. I reminded her that we had all just started buying computers about that time and I had sprung for the big investment. 64 MBs of RAM on my Quadra 950 which cost me an extra $2000…and I never learned how to use “memory” on a simple calculator.
Just before I was posting this I took a quick look to see where the comments are going. I can see it now. Alexander on posters. Probably not a good idea.
Well I do have a harley as well, a street bob. In fact I had quite a few harleys over the years along with a plethora of other bikes. I like engines with character, quirkiness. Harleys have it and those 2 strokers have it as well. I get very bored with smooth 4 strokes and with flat power bands.
I am sure we’ll meet at the next AMI,
Cheers.
Well Yan, I probably will not be at the AMI next year if Turner reads my reference to her in my previous post. I’ll probably be living on the beach and fishing for a living.
BTW, do you fish? If so ride your Harley over to the Bobber’s Group on the OMC and check it out. That’s where I excel.
